What do I need to join as an artisan?
Download HandyNexus and choose the artisan option. Add your trades, a profile and the area you can serve, then complete your National Identification Number check and a live selfie match. Photos of your own work help clients understand what you do.
Do I choose my jobs and set my own quotes?
Yes. Choose the jobs that fit your skills, location and availability. Ask questions before quoting, set a price for the agreed work and make clear what is included. Agree the scope and timing with the client before you start.
Why do I need a NIN and a live selfie?
The identity check helps clients know who they are hiring. HandyNexus checks your National Identification Number and matches it to a live selfie taken in the app before you can take jobs.
Are there fees for artisans?
The app is free to download. A service fee applies to completed jobs and is shown before you quote. Review the fee information in the app so you can decide what to charge for your work.
How do payments work?
Use the app to agree the quote and keep a record of the job. The client's payment stays protected while work is in progress, with completion confirmed in the app. Check your payment status and the applicable payment terms there; contact support if you need help.
What if the job changes or there is a disagreement?
Discuss changes with the client and record an updated agreement in the app before doing extra work. Keep your messages and photos together. If you cannot resolve an issue, contact support from the job so the team can review the details.
Can I join from anywhere in Nigeria?
Yes. HandyNexus is for artisans across all 36 states and the FCT. Set your service area to the places you can realistically reach. Available jobs depend on client demand in your area.
