What should I include when I post a job?
Tell the artisan what needs doing, where the job is and when you would like it done. Clear photos, measurements and any access details help them understand the work and put together a useful quote. You do not need to know the technical name for the problem.
Can I compare quotes before choosing someone?
Yes. Review the quotes you receive, look at each artisan's profile and past work, and chat before you decide. Compare what is included, materials, timing and the total price, not just the lowest number. The choice is yours.
Does it cost anything to post a job?
Downloading HandyNexus, posting a job and receiving quotes are free. When you choose an artisan, agree the scope and price together before work begins.
What does ID verified mean?
Artisans complete a National Identification Number check and a live selfie match before they can take jobs. This checks their identity, not a guarantee of the quality of every job. Review their past work, ask questions and agree clear expectations before hiring.
How do payments and problems with a job work?
Keep the agreed quote, messages and payment in HandyNexus. Payment stays protected while the job is in progress. Check the work before confirming completion in the app. If something is wrong, raise it from the job screen before confirming so support can review the details.
Can I find an artisan outside a major city?
HandyNexus connects clients and artisans across all 36 states and the FCT. Add your job location to find relevant artisans. The people and trades available will depend on your area.
